About

A small oasis is about to burst. Dig canals before it does, and lead the water out into the desert.

Every tile the water reaches turns green. Palms sprout, flowers open, and the sand comes alive. The longer your canal, the greener the desert.

A race against the clock

You get three canal pieces at a time: straights, bends and the odd cross. Lay them so the water has somewhere to go. When the timer runs out, the oasis bursts and the water rushes in. If it hits a dead end, the round is over.

Diggers, houses and fields

You don't place pieces instantly. Your diggers walk over and dig each one by hand.

  • Houses next to the oasis add more diggers.
  • Fields beside the water grow food.
  • Hungry diggers stop working and walk home to eat.

So you're always juggling: dig more canal, or build up your village so you can dig faster?

8 levels

Each level gives you less time, more rocks, less food and faster water. Hit the goal to unlock the next one. Reach 1.5× or 2× the goal for extra stars.

Leaderboard and awards

Sign in to put your total on the leaderboard: the sum of your best score on each level. Collect awards for your first harvest, long rivers, 3-star levels and more. One is a secret.

Works on phones and tablets (portrait or landscape) and on desktop with mouse or keyboard.

How to play

Goal

Dig a canal from the oasis before it bursts. When the water flows, every canal tile and the sand around it turns green. Reach the level's goal score to unlock the next level.

  • Canal with water: 5 points
  • Green sand: 10 points
  • Water crossing a cross piece a second time: 25 points

How a round works

  1. Pick a canal piece, then tap a sand tile. A digger walks over and digs it (4 s).
  2. Start the canal at the oasis outlet and keep the ends joined.
  3. Dig over a dry canal to replace it (takes twice as long). Wet canals can't be changed.
  4. When the timer ends, or you press Release water, the water flows. Press Speed up to hurry it.
  5. The round ends when the water reaches an open end.

From level 2 you can build houses next to the oasis. Each house adds a digger. From level 3, diggers get hungry. Plant fields next to the oasis or a wet canal, and a spare digger farms them for food. Out of the right piece? Tap the ✕ on it to swap it for 1 food.

How it fits “FUN game”

Dova is built around one satisfying moment: you release the water and watch it race down the canal you just dug, turning sand into grass, palms and flowers tile by tile.

  • Quick rounds. A level takes about a minute, so "one more try" is always cheap.
  • Tension, then payoff. The burst timer keeps you busy digging; the flow is the reward.
  • Plans meet chaos. Pieces come in random, diggers walk and get hungry, so you improvise.
  • Room to get better. Stars at 1×, 1.5× and 2× the goal, cross pieces for bonus points, and awards for bold play like releasing early.
  • Plays anywhere. Tap on a phone, click on a desktop, or use the keyboard.
